WORKING STANDARDS

EN 573
Aluminium and aluminium alloys.
Chemical composition and form of wrought products.

EN 755
Aluminium and aluminium alloys.
Extruded rod/bar, tube and profiles.

EN 12020
Aluminium and aluminium alloys.

ALLOYS

All profiles are produced according to the European standard EN 573-3 from the following alloys:

EN AW – 1050 (AL 99.5)
EN AW – 6060 (AL MG SI)
EN AW – 6063 (AL MG 0.7 SI)
EN AW – 6005 (AL SI MG)
EN AW – 6082 (AL SI 1 MG MN)

General physical properties of the aluminium alloys

The 6000 series has sound extrusion properties and can be subjected to heat treatment at extrusion temperatures. This treatment provides the alloys with medium to high strength, a superb corrosion resistance, even when used close to the sea, and allows also the use of welding processes. A large part of the extruded elements for load-bearing structures possess these properties. They are used for load-bearing structures, both on land and at sea.
